Do you ever take trips with you family? When I was still living at home my family used take a trip either to Wisconsin or Idaho almost every summer. Here is an outline from a trip we took to Wisconsin. Are there any specific details you would add?
Describe what you remember the most from our drive to Wisconsin.
The parts that I remember the most were all of the rain and lighting in Wyoming and South Dakota and the trees along the Mississippi River.
I was driving when we went through all of the bad weather. It was some of the worst rain that I had ever seen. If it was a snow storm it would have been a very bad blizzard. There was one time when I would have pulled off to the side of the road, but by the time I did it was getting better.
There was a really nice thunder cloud too. It had so much lightning in it. It was happening all of the time. I was very glad that I was not there.
The other part that I really liked was along the Mississippi River. It was very different than that near Dubuque, Iowa. These bluffs are much higher and there were a lot of trees. The river there is a lot bigger too. It is very pretty. I notice that Wisconsin has more trees than a lot of other states. I personally like being able to see things other than trees. They make me feel closed in. I like being able to see.
I would really enjoy reading about a family trip you have taken. Where did you go?

Does your past bother you?
Does your past bother you?
I have written about many things since I have begun writing. This poem should be important to all of us, because it shows how easily we can lose what is important to us if we are not careful.
My Past
I journeyed to the other side of the fence
And realized I didn’t like it,
I’m unable to go back where I belong.
I miss everything I took for granted;
Friends, family, and husband.
Don’t come to this side.
If life is not good now,
Don’t give up hope.
Stay with those who love you,
Stay happy and content.
Don’t leave your side of the fence.

What is this in the mail?
It wasn’t until a recent summer that I received something in the mail that was totally unexpected, but I knew exactly what it was. I was on vacation in the West and when we pulled into the drive I saw the box sitting by the mailbox. I was really glad that it had not been raining. The package could have been wrecked and I would have lost a valuable family resource. When I saw the address was from Denver I knew immediately that the package contained the volumes of our family history. I was so excited that I would finally have my own copy. I enjoyed reading my parents copy. I was hoping that sometime I could have my own copy, but I was not sure how I could afford it. God was blessing me by giving me a treasure that I will always keep safe.

Three things to say in my obituary.
When someone writes my obituary there are at least three things they should mention. I hope they remember to mention my years in 4-H, how much my family means to me and most importantly, how I tried to live for God.

Write about a member of your family
Johnna
Uno, dos, tres
The first beginning numbers.
Cuatro, cinco, seis,
The age my sister was.
Ella juegaba el tennis dos veces.
Both times she loved it.
Siete, ocho, nueve, diez
Let’s go to another place.
