Have you ever had to write a letter of apology to anybody? It may be difficult to decide upon what you need to say and how much to say it. Here are some ideas about when you need to write an apology and two sample letters.
If you need to write a letter of apology, please do it as soon as possible. Make sure you apologize and do not go overboard. I would not like to receive a letter where the person goes on and on, would you? Do not blame others and explain what you are going to do to fix the situation. As always proofread and send it the next time the post goes out.

Dear Mrs. Smith
I am sorry I missed you last week. Is there any chance we may get together this week? My phone number is 111-1111. Please call when it is most convenient for you.
Thank you for your patience.
Sincerely,
Mrs. Granada

Dear Ms. Gregory,
I would like to apologize for the damage my dog did to your flowerbeds. Please send me the bill so I can pay for it or tell me how I may help. I assure you this will not happen again.
Sincerely,
Mrs. Granada
If any reader has any ideas on what to say tell me and we can add it in.
