Write a poem about Music

Tonight we will have another poem by our guest writer Jessica. Please leave a comment if you would like to be a guest writer.

Music

Hit those drums with that stick
Let the music flow out quick.
Without music my heart will bleed
Give me music, it's all I need.

The trumpet makes me feel alive
I truly need it to survive.
With my music I exceed
Give me music, it's all I need.

Fingers jumping across the keys
Saxophone resting on my knees.
Lips pursed against the reed
Give me music, it's all I need.

Clarinet jazzing to the tune
Razzy notes make me want to swoon.
Listen, my heart, to this I heed
Give me music, it's all I need.

Take that trombone, let it slide
Let your soul be your guide.
When I play I'll succeed
Give me music, it's all I need.

Give me music, I am freed.
